@Koba1t NO monthly Plans..alls you need is a landline phone line to connect the unit to the wall, program unit (up to 4 numbers) and thats it….the reason why ADT, CPI, etc, charges you monthly is for THEM to call 911 for you.

@milchad You can…it depends how you have the answer mode under option. I beleive by defult (im not sure). You call your home..then when you hear the FIRST ring HANG UP!…then call your home AGAIN..The simon will detect the incoming call, enter your password..and then u can arm, disarm, check status, etc..from ANY phone in the world.

@milchad First obviously make sure that the telephone line is connected both to the unit and the home. Secondly under menu make sure all options are on for the phone menu, Wait for the delay time, for example if its a 15 sec. delay….Dont silence your system before 15 seconds. (u may change time on Delay ,10, 15,20, etc sec)
